During 2022, we will interact at Billund Airport and in the region, with the citizens and passengers, as a special airline company, offering them unforgettable experiences: opera at the gates, performances in the waiting areas and at the arrivals, concert-shows at the baggage claim, etc. From our office at the airport, during our artistic residency at BLL we will promote our activities in the high traffic periods and develop the project “Fly low, Fly High: the 7 skies”, visiting schools, offices and urban spaces in the region. We will produce a site specific version of “The Seagull”, that will be shown to the audience in a hangar at Billund Airport, in the frame of Trekantområdets Festuge.
A first pilot version of the project “Low and High Altitude” was successfully completed in September 2021. We will continue developing the pilot project through the whole year of 2022 and to present its results at Billund Airport and in the region, as well in other Danish and international airports in the following years, such creating an international cultural and interdisciplinary network on the wings of creativity.
